I have made a record, it’s called “la matière même du temps” and it’s out now!
If you have been following me for some time, you probably know that I like to play with sounds and voices: I have been a drummer, I created, hosted and produced radio shows, podcasts and other audio projects. In 2022 I got myself a drum machine, I played with it in my spare time (which was very little in the last years, unfortunately), created sounds, songs, experiments… and, finally, an actual record, which is out today on Bandcamp!
You can listen to it right away in the player just below:
It’s called “la matière même du temps”, I released it under the nom de plume ẓavajêr and it has been co-produced, mixed and mastered by Simone Silvestroni of Minutes to Midnight.
“La fatigue est devenue la matière même du temps”, writes Romain Huet: “Fatigue has become the very matter of time”. Why is it so? And why is it always blamed on the individual as if social, economic, political structural problems didn’t play a key role in our mental health conditions? This concept album comes as an urgency: to share the way we feel, to get out of the individual perspective of being a failure, being unable to keep the pace and adapt, to bring back these fatigues to a collective and political level. “Since there are so many people who are depressed – and I maintain that the cause for much of this depression is social and political – then converting that depression into a political anger is an urgent political project.” (Mark Fisher, k-punk)
Keep reading the presentation text and the credits, listen to the record, buy it to support my work (pay what you want or can afford!) on the album’s Bandcamp page.

I’d like to share what Simone Silvestroni, co-producer of the album (well, actually, much more than just that!) wrote on his website, not just because it made me happy, but also because he explains the process of producing the album, which is very, very interesting:
